The Insurance Administrator will ensure that contractors have appropriate insurance coverage and that all contracts are signed and include all necessary data. Work with vendors to establish vendor numbers, inactivate vendors as needed, and notify Community Construction Managers of active vendors.  Essential duties and responsibilities will include some of the following. 

-  Ensure that contractors have insurance including general liability, auto liability, etc.
-  Coordinate with Accounts Payable to establish vendor number and inactivate vendors.
-  Maintain files both physical and computer generated (excel worksheet and IDS website).
-  Work with insurance agents and underwriters to obtain proper verbiage on certificates and endorsements, also to obtain the proper paperwork.
-  Work with Vendors on various items such as pricing, past due invoices, contracts, and insurance. 
-  Work with Community Construction Managers and other internal associates on various insurance related items.
-  Work with IDS to verify written contracts.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required along with 1-2 years of related experience.  Detail and accuracy skills required along with thorough knowledge of Word, and Excel.
