In 2024, ERT received a major investment from Macquarie Capital, marking a new chapter for the company. Macquarie will help ERT continue its strong pattern of sustained growth and expand its capabilities into new areas. With this investment and plan for growth, ERT is looking to bring on a Vice President of Capture Management to strengthen and lead the build out of ERT’s business development capabilities.

Position Description
The Vice President, Civil Space Business Development serves as pursuit lead for ERT’s highest priority opportunities and is responsible for building in-depth understanding of client needs, driving the development of differentiated solutions, and building winning teams comprised of both ERT staff and partner firms. This position is an important component of ERT’s ongoing expansion of its growth function and will allow the company to take full advantage of its strong pipeline, differentiated offerings, and outstanding growth trajectory.
This Vice President-level position reports to the company’s head of business development and involves working both within ERT as well as out in the market. It is considered a corporate role and will be continually collaborating with other ERT functions (e.g., recruiting, pricing, marketing) based out of our corporate headquarters in Laurel, Maryland. This position may be performed remotely with travel as needed for in-person meetings.
The VP. Capture is expected to have and continue to develop a robust professional network consisting of target federal government clients (NASA, NOAA, and DoD, among others), industry partners, academics, FFRDCs, and government laboratories to enhance the company’s understanding of client mission priorities, current infrastructure and programs, future requirements, and organizations.

Required Skills
Education
BS degree or equivalent in engineering, information technology, math, physics, physical science, other technical discipline. MBA or MS in technical or management discipline preferred.
Location
Remote with as needed travel for in-person meetings.
Salary
The salary range for this role is $180,000 - $250,000/year. This range is a good faith estimate based on similar roles across the organization. ERT uses several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the position's scope and expected duties, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
