An opportunity is now available for an experienced Coxswain to join the Marine team based on Hamilton Island.

This position is responsible for delivering and picking up passengers from Hamilton Island to Dent Island, whilst providing exceptional customer service.

The Role

• To operate and maintain the vessel in accordance to NSCV and OH&S standards
• Report on preventative maintenance on the vessel.
• Complete all log books as required
• Complete safety and welcome briefings for each trip across the passage
• Deliver exceptional customer service to each and every guest
• Liaising with golf club team on day to day requirements of the vessel
• Responsible for the induction and training of all staff boarding the vessel as crew

About you

You are a detail oriented professional, with strong leadership skills, team management skills and excellent communication abilities.

You will also have:

• Coxswain – open or endorsed to operate in the Whitsundays (Essential)
• Minimum 2 years experience driving passenger vessels (Essential)
• Coxswain Grade 1 or Master 24NC with MED III (Essential)
• Current 1st Aid and CPR
• Current Drivers Licence
