Entry-Level Substation FACTS/HVDC Engineer - TemporaryJob SummaryPOWER Engineers is seeking a Temporary Entry-Level Substation FACTS/HVDC Engineer to work in the Power Delivery Substation Department of our Portland office located in Lake Oswego, Oregon, for the summer of 2024. Gain hands-on experience with Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) and High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) projects. Flexibility is available for a hybrid work environment (employees must live within driving distance of the office). ResponsibilitiesThe Temporary Entry-Level Substation FACTS/HVDC Engineer will share responsibility with the rest of the department to produce a product consistent with POWER's mission statement and our culture. They are expected to support the department in achieving its department goals, maintain POWER's high-quality standards, promote internal teamwork, and meet the needs of our clients.
