OVERVIEW: Radio One is looking for an On Air Talent/Board Operator to join our Raleigh team! The On-Air/Board Operator performs activities in the radio studio and control room to ensure technical quality of sound for programs originating in the studio, from syndications, or from remote pickup points.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: · Read and interpret documents such as periodicals and news flashes · Develop and write creative and/or informative scripts · Speak effectively, entertainingly, and clearly before large listening audiences and radio station clients · Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form · Manage problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Must have at least 2 years on-air experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience is desirable. | |
