Job Position: Scheduler/Administrative Assistant Status: Full-time Work Location: Corporate – Silver Spring
OVERVIEW: This is a full-time role with non-traditional hours. Reporting to the Special Projects and Programs Specialist. The Scheduler/Administrative Assistant supports the Office of the CEO of Urban One. The Scheduler/Administrative Assistant is the secondary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on matters relating to the Office of the CEO. The ideal individual will be a consummate professional who is adept at exercising good judgment in a wide variety of situations, a first-class juggler who is able to maintain balance among multiple competing priorities, and a travel scheduling magician who is unfazed when booking complex multilocation travel. Keys to this role are strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills, and finding humor in an ever-changing “to-do” list. The Scheduler/Administrative Assistant must be able to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle various activities and confidential matters with discretion. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Undergraduate degree desired. Three to five years of experience working for C-suite executives is strongly preferred. | |
