ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Proficiently operate studio/field camera.
  • Give studio floor direction.
  • Perform audio/video control room tasks.
  • Edit video and voice stories
  • Liaison with Senior Editor
  • Produce and direct field and studio productions

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:

 

  • To attend all relevant skill building workshops as requested.
  • To stay current with all relevant industry information as it applies to the overall job responsibility.
  • To drive your own Performance Appraisal every six months.

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each main responsibility satisfactorily. Ability to operate television studio cameras/lighting and associated equipment, video production switcher, chyron graphics, audio-processing equipment(digital or analog) and a computer for controlling video automation system and general office functionality. Experience with New Tek Tricaster, PowerPoint, Adobe creative suite (Premier Pro, Photoshop, After Effects and Audition) is a plus.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
