**SALARY RANGE: $38.46/hr to $48.56/hr**

SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a dedicated and resourceful Operations Production Manager to support the team across several aspects of video production and administration. The position requires versatility with particular emphasis on organization and communication skills both in the office and on set. Ideal candidates have a working knowledge of what it takes to create best-in-class video content and are genuinely interested in the finer behind-the-scenes details that are essential to successful execution. While part of a supportive team, the PM must also know how to work independently and own tasks for several projects in various stages of production at once. Above all, this person is equally excited about both the process and the end product. 


EY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Assist upper management (VP’s) in managing day-to-day departmental operations.
•    Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting inter-departmental function or production.
•    Provide support to producers for in-house video productions such as scheduling, drafting call sheets, securing production documents, hiring crew and catering, equipment/vehicle rentals, and location management.
•    Coordinating with outside vendors, resources, and freelancers
•    Work directly with Legal and Business Affairs Department to assist in obtaining/executing necessary paperwork and legal agreements
•    Facilitating vendor payments with internal Accounts Payable division
•    Source and research story ideas, talent, crew, creative partners, vendors and locations/permits
•    Assist producers with budget and expense tracking
•    Assist with the organization of digital media assets, analytic reporting, creative decks, briefs, production resources and prop storage/inventory
•    Compile and organize information/content received from marketers, creatives, producers and vendors for pre-production decks. 
•    Complies with Network and Urban One’s mandatory trainings and adheres to related course deadlines.


NOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

•    Bachelor’s degree and proven work experience in video production, audio is a plus
•    Five (5) years of experience as a designated Production Manager, Coordinator or Associate Producer.
•    Knowledge in various aspects of film/video production
•    Demonstrated high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
•    Superb organization skills, ability to meet pressing deadlines and an efficient workflow
•    Superb communication skills and ability to work well on a team
•    Proficiency in MS Office Suite


NOT REQUIRED BUT A PLUS:

•    Experience working with creative agency vendors and general knowledge of the creative process/terminology.
•    Knowledge of film production vendors and equipment
•    Existing contacts with film crew, vendors, and other resources 
•    Contract negotiation
•    Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
