KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complies with Network and Urban One’s mandatory trainings and adheres to related course deadlines.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all iOne Digital partners  
  • Responsible for traffic goals which include developing existing business as well as generating new business accounts and growth across all brands, expanding market audience   
  • Manage direct relationships with partners, including on-boarding and contract work. Representing the brands to negotiate terms of the partnerships  
  • Deliver critical messages to partners to ensure an open and transparent line of communication  
  • Work cross-functionally with Editorial, Product, Legal, Video and Sales  
  • Provide regular updates, data insights, performance, and marketing material to iOne teams  
  • Support the identification of new partnerships and collaborations, understand partner needs around initiatives and new tools  
  • Creating processes for efficiently and effectively managing partner relationships  
  • identifying new areas of opportunity to expand partnerships, deploy new initiatives 
  • Oversee core technology integrations, with support from the technical optimization and product teams, to ensure smooth and successful launches
  • Experience managing Flipboard, Smart News, Google Ads, Facebook, Yahoo, News Break, and others

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, or Communications 
  • 3+ years of account management or project management experience with direct ownership of contract renewals/negotiations (experience with digital publishers and/or digital partners a plus)
