As a Hamilton Island employee, you will be eligible to transfer internally to a new role provided you meet the following requirements:

• Completed a minimum of 6-months of continuous service in your current department at the time of the transfer, or have the approval of your manager
• Be performing at a satisfactory level in your current position and not the subject of recent formal disciplinary action
• Meet the minimum experience, skill, and qualifications for the vacant position and have completed all mandatory training assigned to you 

Restriction Periods

Transfers will not be possible during the below periods unless agreed on by both managers.
Employees may still apply for vacant positions and during these periods and use this time as part of their notice period.

• 01 December - 31 January
• The Saturday prior to the start of Hamilton Island's Race Week until the Saturday following the end of Hamilton Island's Race Week
• All internal transfers must come through the Internal Recruitment Process
