Project Manager, Global Commercial Operations

Position Summary
The role of Project Manager, Global Commercial Operations supports the management, deliverables and smooth running of the Commercial Operations team.
The role involves coordinating with cross functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager, Global Commercial Operations maintains key commercial operations processes, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implements best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
This role supports the team in the provision of business understanding and insight, ensuring Commercial Operations is equipped to deliver high impact projects and business growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Support key projects delivered (directly or indirectly through the Commercial Operations team) by co-ordinating, monitoring and executing these projects. Examples could include competitive RFP project, provision of data / market research, short term rapid action plans
2. Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, and report on progress to management, resolving or escalating challenges where appropriate e.g. scheduling, budgets, project timelines
3. Has ownership for the creation and maintenance of an annual calendar of Global Commercial Operations deliverables with owners and cross functional contributors e.g. BoD & EC updates, CAT meetings
4. Responsible for the diary management of all Commercial Operations meetings including business reviews, pipeline meetings
5. Maintain comprehensive project and meeting documentation including plans, reports, and minutes, liaising with cross functional partners where updates, deliverables, or agenda items are required
6. Track and report on progress of ongoing projects and processes, identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans
7. Conduct key project enabling tasks where necessary e.g. entering and moving contracts through contracting system, setting up POs and following up on approvals, liaising with external partners on set up and ongoing project execution.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency

Educational Requirements
· Educated to degree level
Professional Work Experience Requirements
· Life sciences and/or biotech experience
· Project management experience preferably within Commercial Operations
· Experience in dynamic, fast-growing environment
Experience and Skills

· Demonstrable successful project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple time sensitive projects simultaneously
