Diagnostic Radiologic Technician (Rad Tech)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, must be available between 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Job Type: Full Time | Part Time | Contract | PRN
Pay Rate: Starting at $41/hour

Overview
Nurses and More is hiring a dedicated Diagnostic Radiologic Technician (Rad Tech) to provide high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care in various healthcare settings. Join a collaborative clinical team committed to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, review medical history, explain imaging procedures, and ensure their comfort.
- Operate and adjust X-ray imaging equipment for accurate diagnostic imaging.
- Administer contrast agents as prescribed.
- Ensure patient and technician safety by adhering to radiation safety and shielding protocols.
- Operate PACS to capture, store, and share diagnostic images.
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient care in EMR systems, ensuring appropriate coding.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA compliance standards.
- Coordinate with hospital and community providers, including managing medical equipment and records.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on all imaging equipment.
- Work effectively with clinical team members and promote a positive team environment.
- Take on additional tasks based on patient needs, workflow, or physician requests.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Tech / Rad Tech
- Current ARRT Certification
- Valid CPR Certification (no online-only courses)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a clinical team
