Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Corporate Communications Manager to develop and implement effective communication strategies that enhance our brand, engage stakeholders, and support our corporate objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate communications, public relations, and content creation.

 

**** This position is based in either Glenview, IL or Las Vegas, NV

Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Strategic Support: Provide communications support for internal teams, including style reviews, communication counsel, and writing support.
  • Strategy and Analytics: Develop and oversee an integrated content strategy for the company that encompasses channel selection and focus, editorial governance, and metrics to be applied and aligned with the business’s overall objectives. Leverage analytics to determine effectiveness and seek continual improvements in marketing and communication initiatives.
  • Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation of compelling content for various channels, including press releases and byline articles, internal communications including email, newsletters, and intranet stories, social media, and the company blog.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media representatives and manage press inquiries.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track media coverage, analyze communication metrics, and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Brand Management: Ensure all communications uphold brand standards and reflect the company’s values and mission.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications or public relations.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital communication platforms and social media trends.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of intranet publishing and measurement concepts.
  • Experience providing counsel, influence, and challenge to the thinking of business leaders.
  • Passionate about internal/employee communications as a catalyst to improve and build corporate culture and morale.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent grammar, composition, and proofreading skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
