About the Role

• Work in the Kindy Room as the Group Leader for the 3-4 year olds
• Plan and implement age-appropriate programs that offer a stimulating and interactive learning environment
• Interact with children in order to nurture their natural development and raise their self–esteem
• Make every day fun so learning happens effortlessly
• Work closely with the other Group Leaders and Childcare Assistants to create weekly programs
• Responsible for open and closing duties as required
• Hamilton Island Kindy is open from Monday to Friday - 8am to 5.30pm
• Live on island role

About You

• Diploma of Childcare essential
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate & CPR
• Qld Child Protection Certificate
• Minimum 2 years practical experience in the children's services industry
• Queensland Blue Card for working with children
• Current immunisations
• Genuine passion for children, with an enthusiastic and happy nature
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
