About the Opportunity:
As an Electrician within the Engineering and Services Division, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and repairing electrical systems across our world-class resort. From test and tag duties to maintaining power systems, white goods, AV equipment, and commercial kitchen appliances, you'll help ensure a safe and seamless experience for guests, residents, and staff.

This is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Electrician Supervisor and based right here on Hamilton Island.

Your Responsibilities:
Carry out electrical maintenance and repairs across resort facilities, including guest areas, staff accommodation, and concessionaire properties

• Perform test and tag of electrical appliances and take corrective action when required
• Maintain and carry out minor installations of light, power, commercial kitchen appliances, motors, pumps, and in-house audio-visual systems
• Prioritise urgent repairs, particularly those impacting guest comfort and safety
• Ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and well-maintained
• Accurately record labour, materials, and task details for job requisitions
• Support other trades and work collaboratively across the maintenance team
• Uphold safety and compliance standards at all times

What We’re Looking For:

• Queensland Electrical Work Licence – Electrical Fitter & Mechanic (or ability to convert from interstate)
• Minimum 2 years full-time trade experience
• White Card and CPR/LVR certification (Essential)
• Strong personal presentation, excellent communication skills, and a team-first attitude
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call responsibilities as required
