ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT – Hamilton Island, Holiday Homes

Hamilton Island Holiday Homes (HIHH) manages over 160 holiday let properties, from two-bedroom apartments to luxury homes. We’re seeking a skilled, organised Administration Assistant to join our team and help deliver exceptional experiences for property owners and guests.

Where you’ll make an impact

  • Coordinate daily office administration and support the Property Manager
  • Prepare and manage holiday letting agreements and trust accounting records
  • Communicate with property owners, contractors, and internal teams
  • Process invoices, quotes, and end-of-month billing sheets
  • Ensure statutory and compliance requirements are met
  • Manage filing systems, stocktakes, and key security systems
  • Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, reservations, and front office teams to ensure smooth guest experiences


What we’re looking for

You’re a professional, highly organised administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. With strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude, you take pride in delivering efficient and accurate work while supporting a busy property management team.

To be successful, you’ll need

Essential

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an independent administration role
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Current REIQ Licence

Desirable

  • Diploma in Administration (or equivalent qualification)
  • High typing speed and advanced Outlook knowledge
  • Demonstrated diplomacy, discretion, and confidentiality
  • Strong multitasking and project management skills
  • Polished interpersonal and phone communication skills
