ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER – Catseye Pool Club, The Sundays

Your Role

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily Front of House operations, maintaining exceptional service standards, and fostering a positive team culture. You’ll play an integral role in ensuring every guest enjoys a warm, seamless, and memorable dining experience.

  • Support the Restaurant Manager in leading and motivating the Front of House team
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth, efficient service delivery
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar to maintain clear communication and coordination
  • Deliver attentive and professional guest service aligned with The Sundays’ relaxed luxury ethos
  • Assist with staff onboarding, training, and ongoing development
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
  • Handle guest feedback with professionalism and discretion
  • Contribute to a positive workplace culture built on teamwork and excellence

What we’re looking for

You are an experienced hospitality professional who leads by example and thrives in a dynamic, premium environment. With strong communication and leadership skills, you inspire your team to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a calm and confident presence.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a quality dining venue or luxury resort
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations and service standards
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Food safety and hygiene knowledge (essential)
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar qualification (preferred)
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
  • A passion for creating memorable guest experiences and fostering team success
