BAKER – Bob’s Bakery
Hamilton Island is seeking an experienced and passionate Baker to join the team at Bob’s Bakery, our busy, guest-favourite bakery located along scenic Front Street overlooking the marina. Serving premium baked goods to both guests and island restaurants, this is your opportunity to live and work in paradise while doing what you love.

Your Role
As a Baker at Bob’s Bakery, you'll produce a wide range of freshly baked items from scratch each day. This includes artisan breads, savoury pastries, laminated viennoiserie , cakes, and retail-ready goods. You'll work as part of a small, dedicated team to deliver consistently high standards for both bakery customers and Hamilton Island’s restaurant venues.

Where You’ll Make an Impact

• Prepare and bake high-quality bread, pastry, and baked goods from scratch.
• Support daily high-volume production for both retail and restaurant service.
• Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet production schedules and daily targets.

What We’re Looking For
You’re a passionate and hands-on baker who takes pride in your craft and works well in a fast-paced team environment. You’re reliable, efficient, and dedicated to consistently producing quality products.

To Be Successful, You Will Need:

• Certificate III in Bakery or equivalent trade qualification (Essential).
• Demonstrated experience in baking artisan breads and pastries.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work in a hot and busy kitchen.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Positive, self-motivated attitude and strong team ethic.
• Valid Australian driver’s license (Essential).
