DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

  • Drive improvements in Automotive Quality Management by defining and implementing QA standards and best practices.
  • Review, implement and monitor compliance of the Automotive “Customer Specific Requirement (CSR).”
  • Develop and implement fundamental Automotive Quality tools, including Process and Design FMEAs, MSA, SPC (Process capability & Process performance of variable data, Control chart), PPAP, APQP, and CAPA.
  • Implement the APQP process and lead/troubleshoot all APQP and PPAP elements across various product development phases.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and with manufacturing sites to implement continuous improvement programs and “zero defect” methodologies for Automotive products.
  • Lead hands-on activities to improve Failure Analysis capabilities through tools such as: 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagrams, DOEs, Effective Root Cause Analysis, CAPA.
  • Support the development and implementation of Safe Launch processes for new Automotive products.
  • Contribute to the completion of PPAP submissions and obtaining customer approvals.
  • Lead DPPM (Defective Parts Per Million) reduction initiatives, targeting zero DPPM across all Automotive products.
  • Support cross-functional team (CFT) meetings, driving resolution of quality issues to closure.
  • Support the implementation of the Internal Audit program and assist with customer and third-party audits, including follow-up on corrective actions.

 

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering).
  • Proven knowledge of ISO-9001 and IATF16949 Quality Standards.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Automotive semiconductor industries.
  • Familiar with the entire semiconductor product life cycle, from concept to end-of-life (EOL).
  • Hands-on experience working with Automotive customers, including “Tier 1” suppliers.
  • Direct involvement in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities for automotive products
  • Strong working knowledge of automotive core tools, including PPAP, APQP, MSA, FMEA, and SPC.
  • Demonstrated experience in executing APQP and PPAP processes.
  • Experience with foundry and assembly (packaging) processes and qualifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to interface directly with customers and suppliers.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, process-driven, and results-oriented environment with a strong sense of urgency and passion.
  • Fluent in English

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comprehensive experience with the AEC-Q100 qualification process.
  • Knowledge of ISO 26262 (Road Vehicles – Functional Safety) quality standards.
  • Proven understanding of the VDA 6.3 quality audit standard.
