We are currently looking for an experienced Investment Banking Analyst to join our Chemicals & Materials team in London, United Kingdom. 

Our analysts work closely with senior bankers to make a real impact on our clients’ business through involvement in all facets of investment banking activities including equity and debt offerings, valuations, private placements, mergers, and acquisitions, leveraged buy outs and strategic advisory work. On a day-to-day basis our analysts:

·         Create and maintain financial models

·         Assist in the preparation of marketing materials

·         Assist in the creation of business valuation and financial projections and models

·         Data gathering and synthesis

·         Create and maintain industry-specific business development books

·         Conduct industry and company-specific research

·         Interact with clients and senior stake holders

Qualifications

Educated to degree level or equivalent (2:1 or above)

 

Additional requirements:

·         Minimum 2 years Investment Banking / Corporate Finance experience

·         Strong modelling skillset (LBO & DCF)

·         Good understanding of financial statements

·         Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

·         Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships and rapport

·         Motivated, team player with a desire to work in a fast paced, challenging environment

·         Ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously

·         Positive work ethic and a high level of enthusiasm, initiative, and leadership potential
