Taking care of a patient's health means caring for them with compassion. We treat our patients how they want to be treated, regardless of where they live, where they are from, or what they can pay. Our doors are open to all, regardless of their citizenship status.
We have an opening for a Core Family Medicine Faculty team member at Sollus Northwest, our Family Medicine Residency Program. Yakima County, known as Washington's fruit basket, supports many families with an abundant harvest, including leading hops, apples, grapes, cherries, and asparagus exports. The Yakima Valley also hosts numerous breweries, wineries, and cider houses. This agricultural wealth sustains migrant farmworkers, warehouse workers, and various industries, promoting farm-to-table programs. Healthy communities are essential for these services, and Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is committed to keeping our communities healthy, educated, and informed.
Our neighborhood centers offer affordable, high-quality care for families, their kids, and grandparents. We help when they're hurting—and even when they're not. Whether they're about to be a mom for the first time, trying to soothe their 6-year-old's toothache, helping their homebound grandmother get her medicine, or deciding the best foods to feed their family, we can help. We can even help when they're looking for work or trying to keep their home warm in the wintertime. We're here for our communities. All in one place.
We are who we are because of our migrant farmworkers. These short clips share a glimpse of our dedication to our communities, our health, and our families:
HOW WE TEACH
Our Family Medicine physicians supervise and evaluate our family medicine residents in training in inpatient and outpatient settings. Our faculty members are also responsible for maintaining a medical practice and providing a full scope of family practice. Our faculty providers also actively develop and evaluate clinical practice and curriculum policies and procedures. They are responsible for carrying out the mission of Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinics and the Sollus Northwest Family Medicine Residency Program by serving and caring for patients, co-workers, and all people with whom they share time while doing their job functions.
