Position Description
ERT is seeking an Endangered Species Act (ESA) Consultation Scientist to support NOAA Fisheries Southeast Regional Office (SERO) in St. Petersburg, Florida. Will conduct scientific literature reviews to obtain background information necessary to conduct and write up credible, legally, and biologically defensible, project-effect analyses for Section 7 consultation documents. Required Skills
Must be a US Citizen or a Permanent Resident and be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a security badge to enter the applicable government facility.
Education
BS in Marine Biology, Marine Policy, related discipline, or equivalent.
Location
This position is fully remote; however, local travel in the Southeast region of the US is required. Candidates should reside in the Southeast region or be willing to relocate. Intermittent attendance in the local office will also be required.
