Position Description
ERT is seeking an experienced Business Manager to provide financial and business administration support on key contracts. Duties include:
- Responsible for project budgeting, monitoring expenses, and financial reporting on a large contract.
- Preparation of Contractor Task Plans and financial reports (e.g., NASA 533 or NOAA EVM, etc.) using an automated system.
- Prepare internal financial reports including profit analysis.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants on financial data.
- Responsible for monitoring and tracking all other direct costs including travel.
- Set up and maintain accounting and reporting system structure.
- Experience in government contract regulations and administration.
- Experience with cost reimbursable government contracts.
- Train administrative support staff.
- Search, track, and report on employee/consultant documents and skills. Develop system for maintaining and tracking required documents.
- Maintain on-line document repository and user rights.
Required Skills
6+ years’ relevant experience, to include:
- Knowledge of accounting/finance principles
- Experience with financial reporting
- Excellent MS Excel skills and proficient with all other MS Office applications
- Ability to learn and use financial reporting applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Organization skills to balance and prioritize work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a security badge to access applicable government systems.
Desired
- Experience with Unanet accounting system and Taleo ATS system
Education
BS/BA degree in finance, accounting, related field, or equivalent.
Salary
The salary range for this role is $64,000 - 248,000/year. This range is a good faith estimate based on similar roles across the organization. ERT uses several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the position's scope and expected duties, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
