Manager, Business Development, Cooling

Irvine, CA/ Full-time

Your responsibilities

 

This role is pivotal in expanding the business unit's market share and driving revenue growth in North America. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Unit, this role is responsible for defining, documenting, and representing the business unit strategy aligned to the regional strategy. This role will also drive identifying new business opportunities and fostering strategic partnerships.

 

 

·        BSH Business unit market share & business deep dive analysis

·        Provide BU strategy support, including preparing and aligning strategic documents in coordination with regional strategy team

·        Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market insights, and business development activities to senior management

·        Track BU KPI scorecard and provide detailed analysis, findings, and recommendations

·        Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments to anticipate market shifts and capitalize on opportunities

·        Identify additional business opportunities outside of core business and develop business case

·        Represent business unit in strategic discussions

·        Collaborate across Business units to develop standardized program/product architecture leading harmonized roadmap

·        Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support for initiatives

Your profile

·       Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing or related field) – Required

·       Master's Degree (MBA) – Preferred

·       10+ Years of Experience (Strategy) – Required

·       3-5 Years of Experience (Project Management) – Required

·       5-7 Years of Experience (Management Consulting, Investment banking, Private Equity in a strategic function) – Preferred

·       3-5 Years of Experience (Appliance Industry) – Preferred

·       3-5 Years of Experience (People Manager Experience) – Required

·       Extensive experience in a strategically focused role such as Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Business Strategy, Investment Banking, or Private Equity

·       Deep project management skills with the ability to drive complex topics

·       Excellent communication and presentation skill (verbal and written) with the ability to confidently engage with senior executives

·       Strong problem solving and analytical skills (qualitative and quantitative)

·       Ability to deliver on aggressive timelines and meet deadlines

·       Comfortable with ambiguity

·       Travel Percentage – 30%

Your Pay & Benefits

The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
