Job Title: Senior Executive-System Administration 

Location: India, Remote

What you will do:

• Managing helpdesk tickets and resolving L2 and L3 related issues.
• Responsible for installing, configuring, and hardening Linux servers, including enabling password policies, SSH, and firewall rules. Should also be able to install and configure WebSphere applications on both Linux and Windows environments, as well as various commercial products on Windows/Linux operating systems. Additionally, they oversee setting up all Linux servers with CentOS, Red Hat, and Oracle Linux.
• Monitoring disk space, server load, and server logs.
• Managing the NFS, FTP, and https services on Linux servers.
• User management and provisioning.
• Implementing LVM (creating and extending the volume) and disk quota.
• Upgrading Kernel and installing patches for Linux servers.
• Performing POC for new implementations.
• Managing Windows DHCP and DNS services.
• Configuring and managing Hyper-V servers, Dell Blade servers (M1000e), and SCv2000 SAN storages.
• Using PowerShell script to automate Windows reports to find disk monitoring, server utilization, and stale user accounts.
• Creating and deploying user and device collections, packages, and programs to client machines.
• Utilizing MDT and SCCM to develop images for automated operations.
•  Performing security updates and upgrades using WSUS integrated with SCCM.
• Managing the company's VOIP phone system.
•  Ensuring full and incremental data backups are successful and performing data restores for users as needed (EMC Networker).
• Administering Hyper-V virtual machines and clusters.
• Creating and maintaining Linux and Windows instances on AWS cloud computing.
•  Performing routine audits of systems and software.
• Application control using a third-party application (Avecto Defendpoint).
• Maintaining Microsoft File Server, DHCP, and DNS.
• Administering the creation and management of group policy.
• Installing, configuring, and administering network monitoring systems using OPManager and Zabbix (Network Monitoring).
• Hands-on experience in Terraform is required.

What you will need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6 – 8 years of relevant work experience.
• ITIL or any of the certifications (Microsoft/Linux/Storage/Virtualization /Cloud)
• Good Communication Skills
