Sunrise Transport, Inc. is a subsidiary of Four Seasons Produce, Inc. and we're currently seeking a 3rd Shift Truck Mechanic to service our fleet of approximately 120 trucks ranging from 24' straight trucks to 53' tractor trailers, all with refrigeration units.  As a Truck Mechanic, you will perform preventative maintenance on the equipment, as well as inspect any issues the drivers encounter during their pre-trip and post-trip inspections. 

This position involves working in our state-of-the-art truck shop and the position includes several incentives in addition to the base pay. We offer a generous tool allowance in order for you to purchase the right tools for the job. We also have competitive shift differentials for working 3rd shift, as well as weekend premiums for working either a Saturday or Sunday. We offer a 4-day work week by working Tuesday thru Friday, 11:00pm-9:30am.


Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

  • Ensure complete and timely repairs, meeting safety requirements

  • Collaborate with Fleet Services team in maintaining vehicle related equipment and in meeting daily operating results

  • Maintain accurate record keeping of vehicle repairs

  • Operate equipment safely, follow safe work practices and maintain a safe work area

  • Achieve required level of vehicle maintenance knowledge and skills in the areas of refrigeration and electronic diagnostic systems


Minimum Education / Certification Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Pennsylvania Class A CDL (or willingness to obtain within 1 year of employment)

  • Class 7 Pennsylvania Inspection certification (or willingness to obtain within 1 year of employment)


Minimum Qualifications / Experience Requirements:

  • Previous experience maintaining and repairing diesel equipment is preferred, but not required

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, vehicle maintenance software and dashboard systems)

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, effectively plan and make sound decisions

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Refrigeration certification

  • Electronic diagnostics systems certification
