Gardener – Resort Presentation

Join our team of 30 passionate gardeners and play a vital role in showcasing the natural beauty of Hamilton Island. As part of our Resort Presentation team, you’ll help maintain the lush gardens, manicured lawns and vibrant landscapes that create a world-class island experience for our guests.

Your Role

As a Gardener, you’ll contribute to the day-to-day care and presentation of Hamilton Island’s landscaped areas. Working outdoors in a tropical environment, you’ll help ensure gardens and lawns are maintained to the highest standard while enjoying a roster that allows plenty of time to explore the Whitsundays.

Where you’ll make an impact

• Undertake turf and garden maintenance and landscape construction works.
• Implement routine pest management and plant nutrition programs.
• Safely operate landscape maintenance equipment in line with WHS procedures.
• Maintain the aesthetic standards of all landscaped precincts with strong attention to detail.
• Participate in propagation and support nursery operations as required.

What we’re looking for

You love working outdoors and have a genuine passion for tropical plants and landscapes. You take pride in your work, enjoy being part of a team, and get satisfaction from seeing gardens thrive.

To be successful, you will need

• Certificate I, II or III in Horticulture, or a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
• Manual driver’s licence (essential).
• Irrigation knowledge (desirable but not essential).
