Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) -Private Duty in School
To provide private duty nursing care for child while in school located in the 28227 area
Hours are 6:45 AM - 4:00 PM
Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
Pay is $33.00 per hour.
LPN Duties and responsibilities include:
- Meet student at home and ride transportation with student to school
- Monitor seizures and precautions for seizures
- Feedings- including Bolus Feeding
- Monitor child during during school activities while maintaining social distancing protocols
- Administer Medication
- Monitor and Administer Oxygen
Job Requirements:
- Must have at least one year of LPN experience within the last 3 years
- Must have at least 6 months of G-Tube experience (mickey button)
- Must have CPR Certification (no online courses)
School Private Duty Nurse Program Notable Features:
- No weekends, no holidays and no on-call rotation required.
- Overtime Available but not required. Summer Assignment options available
- No excessive Paperwork - skilled care notes and flow sheets are very easy to complete during shift.
- Multi - Level Paid Orientation - Includes Class and on-site detailed orientation for each client
- RN Supervisor - Reviews each assignment with staff prior to assignment and provides ongoing immediate clinical support
- RN Supervisors - Have over 20 years in nursing and the home care industry; very strong client / nurse advocates.
