ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate radio station control board and all studio equipment as directed
  • Follow programming and commercial logs and ensure all elements air properly
  • Perform all Emergency Alert System (EAS) tests as required
  • Perform other tasks necessary for the successful broadcast of radio programs
  • Adhere to all applicable laws and FCC regulations 

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
  • Self-starter, with the ability to take and follow direction
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with the station’s clients and listeners
  • Can work well independently and as an integral part of the team
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, and lift/move up to 50 lbs
  • Submit to a criminal background check
  • Legal right to work in the United States

  • Experience with audio boards is preferred

     

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1-2 years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
