Students and volunteers make up an important resource for our community, working together for the betterment of all. Ideally, volunteers find the donation of their time and energy a meaningful experience for themselves as well as for the organization - a true win/win situation.

Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic believes the health of one person is the health of humanity. Our priority is providing primary care to the Washington and Oregon communities we serve. Services are based on a patient-centered medical home model. During placement, you will interact with dedicated providers and staff serving an economically and culturally diverse population of adults and children. Some placements with YVFWC sites may require bilingual skills.

 Immunization requirements include:
TB test within the last year
Tdap booster within the past 10 years
Hepatitis B (only if you will be working with patients)
Flu vaccine (only during flu season)
If you will be working in a clinical position or otherwise working directly with patients, you will also need to provide CPR and BBP documentation. This does not apply to job shadows.
You can upload copies of your immunization records and other documents during the online application process.
